Dataram Mishra, popularly known as “DRM”, is currently the Managing Director and CEO of CHIVARO Group which comprises of companies focused in engineering and advanced technology development, product development and high technology skill /competency development for Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, Mobility, Manufacturing and Energy segments.

DRM has an engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology, Madras India and Masters in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc.) along with several Management programs from various Management institutes and staff colleges.

Prior to the current venture , he was the Managing Director & CEO of CADES (currently: AXISCADES), a global engineering services company and before that  he was the Director, Operations and Member of the Executive Board of an engineering software and services company – CSM Software (currently: SOLIZE).

Before becoming an entrepreneur and corporate leader, he started his career as an Engineering Design & Analysis Manager at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore (HAL) where he worked for the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH-DHRUB) program. Prior to this, he worked as a
Scientist in DRDO as a part of the Unmanned Systems Program (UAV).

He has over 25  years of management experience in the field of technology, engineering design/development, business management & strategic partnership for engineering product development and product life cycle management (PLM) focused on global Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, Mobility, Energy and Manufacturing industries. DRM has good working knowledge of
engineering design, analysis, simulations, testing and manufacturing. He also has experience in setting up global engineering & technology centers of excellence (COEs).

He works very closely with multiple global OEM’s, system manufacturers & suppliers for adding value to their businesses by solving capacity, capability & cost requirements as well as challenges. In the past, he has also partnered with several global leaders like Airbus, Boeing, UTC, GE, Nissan, Volvo, Mercedes  Benz, VW, Audi etc. for business interactions. He has developed global business and managed overseas operations by continuous interaction with the
business management teams, partners & customers. Through the years he has successfully
implemented Design Anywhere & Build Anywhere concept.

DRM has excellent understanding of local & global markets as well as a good working relationship with government organizations, offset management bodies and industry associations (like CII, FICII, Assocham, SIATI, NASSCOM and others) as well as Indian aerospace
& defense organizations like Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL), DRDO, ISRO, National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) & Ministry of Defence &  Civil Aviation (MOD, MOCA) etc.

To sum up he is a dynamic, results-oriented and motivated tech entrepreneur and business leader with a strong track record of performance while leading innovative business practices
